The story
In 2022 the CASEC Medical Mission returned for the first time since 2019, and served over 2,500 people.
The mission was hosted at ISMAM, the Institut Supérieur de Management du Manengouba, the first agricultural school of its kind in Nkongsamba and the Moungo, at the foot of Mount Nlonako. Its founder, Gabriel Djankou, had resigned a prestigious position at the United Nations to fight for the renaissance of Nkongsamba.
Gabriel hosted the mission and did the preparatory work to make it a success, bringing in local hospitals, clinics and other local organizations to offer support. It was the seventh CASEC medical mission, and brought the total served to over 25,000.
