What we do
Year-round workshops, media campaigns and the annual CASEC Walk to raise awareness, dispel myths and build early detection habits.
Breast, cervical, prostate, oral and colorectal cancer screening, HPV testing and immunization, on every medical mission and throughout the year.
Screening leads to early detection and treatment of cervical precancer, and early diagnosis of prostate, colorectal and breast cancer when treatment is most effective.
Support for each person and their family through the continuum of cancer care: screening, diagnosis, treatment, palliative care and hospice.

Our flagship initiative, the CASEC program, operates as a year-round health delivery framework. While our temporary mobile hospitals act as high-impact clinical and surgical hubs, CASEC works every single day to bridge the cancer care gap for underserved communities.
CASEC stands for Cancer Awareness, Screening/prevention, Early detection and Care. It reaches people in Cameroon and immigrant communities in the United States.
CASEC brings qualified people, reliable essential medicines and the right technology to the treatment of cancer. Screening happens on every medical mission and throughout the year, and our patient support programs stay with people through diagnosis and treatment: companion care, palliative care and funds for the tests and treatment they could not otherwise afford.
CASEC widens access to cancer screening and early detection through year-round workshops, media campaigns and the annual CASEC Walk, including education on HPV and cervical cancer.
CASEC works with community networks, other cancer charities and county health centers, to reach people who are often hard to reach.
