Field notes
About CASEC Walk
The Walk to Fight Cancer and...WIN! began on 27 October 2012 to raise awareness and destigmatize cancer, and to promote screening/prevention, early detection and care of those facing cancer. The walk was launched in Maryland and Douala to enthusiastic participation and positive reviews.
A morning to remember
Walkers lace up their shoes for a few miles, then gather back at the hub to share food, pray together and release balloons carrying messages for the loved ones we have lost.
Why we walk
To raise cancer awareness in our communities, at home and in the diaspora, and to raise the money that keeps CASEC screening, early detection and care going.
Walk with us
Bring your family, your friends, your church or your association. Every step honors someone and helps someone else find their cancer early.
Together, we can do more
Be part of the care.
Every gift funds free care, screening and medicine for people who would otherwise go without.
