The fluid coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has immeasurably affected events worldwide as state and national governments have banned gatherings and instituted social distancing and quarantine measures to curb the spread of the virus.
According to the Centers for Disease Control large events and mass gatherings can contribute to the spread of COVID-19 via travelers who attend these events and introduce the virus to new communities. Examples of such events include conferences, festivals, parades, concerts, sporting events, weddings, and other types of assemblies such as schools, churches and workplaces. | Visit CDC.GOV
