Volunteers Needed – Financial Donations Needed – Thousands to be Served

This is a highly anticipated, upcoming Medical Mission by the African Women’s Cancer Awareness Association (AWCAA) in collaboration with the Patcha Foundation scheduled from June 3rd 2013 to June 7th 2013. Both Non-Profit Organizations are based in MD, USA. The purpose of the joint Mission is comprehensive healthcare delivery with special focus on Cancer Awareness, Screening, Early detection and Care.

The AWCAA has made giant strides in cancer education and care in the DC Metro area African communities. The organization has extensive experience in carrying out health missions to many African countries. The CEO has won many awards in recognition of her organization’s contributions to the battle against breast Cancer. The Patcha Foundation is recognized as the leading Cancer advocacy group in Cameroon with many successful workshops, health fairs and screenings and interventions that have touched thousands of Cameroonians.

A team of medical practitioners including surgeons, dentists, pharmacists, nurses and nutritionists will travel to Cameroon from the USA to provide services to thousands of people. The team is looking for more volunteers to boost the planned healthcare activities. Anyone willing to volunteer services should contact the planning team ASAP. Your life will be forever changed by the experience.

The success of this trip also requires financial support from the community. I urge you a to watch the following link and make a donation to bring us closer to our financial goal. Your donation will help host the doctor and nurse volunteers from the USA, provide free screenings, free surgeries and a lot more. The cost of providing care to just one person is about $200. How many can you provide for? No contribution is too small.

Please contact AWCAA – Ify Nwabukwu (240-353-7545) / the Patcha Foundation USA – Stella Adamu (301-256-4575) / the Patcha Foundation Cameroon – Eric Mungwa (237 7408 4076).

We also need volunteers and sponsors in Cameroon. Please call us if you are a health professional and would like to volunteer during the week long event in Cameroon. Non professionals are also welcome.

Thank you.
