Folate-Rich Foods and Vitamin D are good
Low levels of folate make it more likely for mutations in DNA to occur. Therefore increase your folate intake. Cereals are often fortified with folate. Check the labels. Vitamin D is also suggested to curb the growth of cancer cells.

Liver and shellfish - their high copper content increases the growth rate of tumors
Research seems to suggest that the growth and spread of cancer may be stopped by depriving the cancer tumor of the copper they need to form new blood vessels. Try to eliminate liver and shellfish from your diet due to their high copper content.

Avoid burning, charring or deep browning foods
Crispy surfaces contain polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH), cancer-causing chemicals that come from cooking at high temperatures. Keep foods as far from hot coals as possible, and cook slowly.

Avoid sugar, trans fatty acids, too much cow milk
Reduce or eliminate sugar and fat, for good overall health. There are conflicting studies on the intake of too much cow milk. Talk with a healthcare provider.
